Swiss Triathlon StartPass (Annual License)

StartPass required for Olympic distance (individual race), National League and Youth League

A competition license from Swiss Triathlon (StartPass) or an ITU/ETU-affiliated foreign federation is required for the following individual races affiliated to a national series:

– Youth League 14-15
– National League
– Olympic Distance (individual race)

Full competition rules apply.

The annual StartPass must be ordered from the Swiss Triathlon website. If you don’t have one, you’ll need to order a daily StartPass (a license valid for one race) when you register online, directly on the Datasport website. It costs CHF 32.50 online and CHF 40.- for on-site registration. Further information on the Swiss Triathlon website.

EasyPass and Fun Pass from Swiss Triathlon

An EasyPass is required by Swiss Triathlon for races with rankings and referees that are not part of the Triathlon Series. It costs CHF 10 and entitles you to become a member of the Swiss Triathlon Federation. In the races where it applies, the competition rules are simplified in a spirit of education and promotion. This contribution makes it possible to boost the range of popular competitions in Switzerland, standardize them and increase their quality, while at the same time helping to develop triathlon in our country.

In Nyon, the EasyPass is required for the Duathlon, the Short Distance race (individual and relay) and the Olympic Distance relay. For relays, a single EasyPass is required for the whole team. Further information on the Swiss Triathlon website.

The EasyPass must be purchased at the time of registration on the Datasport platform. A person with an annual license (StartPass) does not need to purchase an EasyPass.

For races without ranking or referees, a FunPass is required by Swiss Triathlon. It costs CHF 3 and entitles you to become a member of the Swiss Triathlon Federation. In races where it applies, the competition rules are not applied. Swiss Triathlon’s aim is to offer events that are fun, relaxed and accessible to all. This contribution will enable us to develop this type of project and improve its quality, while at the same time promoting the development of triathlon in our country.

In Nyon, the FunPass is required for the Discovery Race and the Aquathlon. Further information on the Swiss Triathlon website.

The FunPass must be purchased at the time of registration on the Datasport platform. A person with an annual license (StartPass) does not need to buy a FunPass.
