Our mission and values
The mission of the Comité d’organisation du Triathlon de Nyon is to put on a great triathlon and sports festival that is accessible to all. The aim is to promote popular sport by offering races adapted to all types of public, in a spirit of inclusion and accessibility.
Our organization is entirely volunteer-based, with dedicated teams working to make the event a success. We’re committed to providing athletes with a memorable experience, combining fun and professionalism, to offer them quality competition in a friendly, dynamic environment.
The Nyon Triathlon is organized around four core values.
Popular
- Inclusive and accessible to all, offering fun for all participants.
- Promote the practice of sport among the general public, whether or not they are sportsmen and women, disabled or not, young or old, by offering quality races and facilities adapted to the specific needs of each individual.
Ecoresponsible
- Implementation of actions to limit the event’s carbon footprint.
- Our suppliers and partners are also involved in this aim, for example: banning single-use plastic at the event, local producers, limiting and sorting waste, etc.
Quality
- Professional organization by a 100% volunteer committee.
- To be innovative in the races we offer and constantly improve our range, while guaranteeing safety for the athlete.
- Promote and make the most of the work of our members and volunteers.
Dynamics
- Integration, cohesion and promotion of sport among young people.
- Team spirit, respect and mutual support within the committee and with the many volunteers committed to the success of the event.
