Supporting a sustainable, local and inclusive sporting event
Organized by volunteers since 1989, the Nyon Triathlon has established itself as one of the biggest triathlons in Switzerland, while remaining true to its popular, friendly and inclusive spirit. Every year, over 2,500 participants – children, families, amateurs, elites and para-athletes – take part in this great celebration of sport, cheered on by over 10,000 spectators who come to share a weekend of emotions and self-transcendence.
In 2026, the 37ᵉ edition will host an event of international stature: the FISU University World Championship. This exceptional competition will spread the influence of Nyon and Switzerland far beyond their borders, while continuing the popular formats for which Nyon Triathlon is renowned – from the Tri Kids to the Family Team, via the Discovery and Olympic races.
