Traffic disruptions
Due to the Nyon Triathlon, traffic disruptions are expected throughout the weekend. Certain sections of road will be temporarily closed to traffic to ensure the safety of participants and spectators. Detailed maps of road closures and detours will be posted online shortly.
Please drive carefully, obey all temporary traffic signs, and follow the instructions of the volunteers and security personnel on site. Whenever possible, please limit your vehicle travel in the vicinity of the course.
Traffic Restrictions in Switzerland
🚧 Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 6:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Sunday, August 9, from 6:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 🚧 Service disruptions
Route de Suisse will be closed to traffic heading toward Nyon between the Port de Crans roundabout and the Clémenty roundabout.
- Traffic will be permitted only in the direction of Nyon to Crans.
- A detour will be in place from Céligny and Crans via Crassier to Nyon.
⛔ Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 10:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. ⛔ Road closed
Route de Suisse will be completely closed in both directions between the UEFA venue and the Landes neighborhood in Crans. A detour will be set up via Crassier.
Public Transportation (TPN)
Significant disruptions are also expected on the Nyon Public Transport Network (TPN) during the event.
We encourage you to check the schedules before traveling and visit bustpn.ch/triathlon26 to find out which routes are affected, which detours have been set up, and which stops have been relocated or temporarily closed.
