Orientation in the domain of popular sport

The Nyon triathlon has greatly evolved. Starting from being a small regional race with predominantly amateur runners, it has now become an indispensable challenge not to be missed by the Swiss elite athletes.

For this reason, it was attributed the national championships by the Swiss Federation five times (1995, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2003). With more 1'500 participants, the Nyon triathlon is among the leaders in Switzerland for this type of event (according to statistics of the Swiss triathlon federation) and is positioned the second most important triathlon that takes place in Switzerland.

The theme of the event and its geographical situation attracts between 3'000 to 3'500 spectators over the two-day event. The pleasure of sport and fair play is the heart of the organization of the Nyon triathlon. Our objective is to achieve a high quality in the domains of organization, security, and to encourage participation in triathlons.

Our goal is to satisfy the specific needs of a wide range of groups, most specifically children, young adults, amateur athletes, families and seniors.

Competition sport

We encourage competition in triathlons. We want to support out elite athletes in an optimal way by proposing specific races to offer them a targeted training terrain, which will permit them to participate in international competitions with success.

The interaction between competition sport and popular sport is very important to us. We regularly organize get-togethers with athletes of different ages and different levels to encourage networking and to share experiences.
